Waste mud treatment project of a highway bridge pile foundation project

Project background
Project type: Construction of ultra-deep bored piles for highway bridges (pile diameter 1.2m, depth 30m)
Mud source: Drilling process wall mud (bentonite base) + formation drill cuttings (high sand content)
Core problem:
Daily waste mud volume is 100m³, water content > 90%, and cannot be directly transported;
Land stacking has high land occupation cost;
Treatment target
Reduction: Mud volume reduction ≥ 70%
Resource utilization: Separate sand and gravel for roadbed backfill, and recycle filtrate
III. Solution and technical process
Treatment process: Modular "mechanical dehydration + chemical solidification + water treatment" system
Key steps:
Flocculation conditioning:
Add PAC (polyaluminium chloride) + PAM to destroy the colloidal structure of mud;
Deep dehydration (plate and frame filter press):
Pressure 1.5MPa, the moisture content of mud cake after dehydration is ≤40% (the moisture content of original mud is 92%).
Process: Mud sampling, PAM selection and approximate dosage test in the laboratory,
Below is the jar test for PAM type selection:

After testing, select the model with the best effect and the best usage, and verify it again
